Hi friends — today I’m kicking off something new, simple, and deeply needed.
Like most busy working parents (and busy people in general), my days are packed – PTO president responsibilities, a full-time leadership role, supporting softball, managing a household, building a blog, and raising two little girls (plus a new kitten…because why not add chaos?)
And I’ve learned something important:
Waiting for a big block of free time is the fastest way to never change anything.
One Hour a Day to a Fulfilled Life
Six tiny, doable 10-minute habits
Because real fulfillment isn’t built in giant “reset” weekends, perfect morning routines, or life overhauls.
It comes from micro-moments – small, intentional actions repeated consistently.
Why 10 Minutes?
Ten minutes is doable.
Ten minutes is accessible.
Ten minutes fits into real life – even on the busiest, most unpredictable days.
And over time, ten minutes becomes:
- 70 minutes per week
- 300 minutes a month
- 3,650 intentional minutes a year
- 60 intentional hours shaping your life
All without burning out or giving up.
The Six Pillars I’m Focusing On Every Day
These six areas create the foundation of a truly fulfilled life. Every day, I’ll commit to just 10 minutes on each:
1️⃣ Physical Wellness
Small movement, hydration, nourishment, sleep habits – in tiny, achievable ways.
2️⃣ Mental Wellness
Meditation, breathing, journaling, quiet moments, emotional resets.
3️⃣ Quality Time
Being present with the people I love — not just in the room, but actually with them.
4️⃣ Financial Wellness
Quick budgeting check-ins, mindful spending, YNAB cleanup, organization.
5️⃣ Personal Development
Reading, learning, reflecting, building my blog, or working toward long-term goals.
6️⃣ Home Environment
Tidy one area, reset a space, or complete a tiny home task that makes life smoother.
None of these are glamorous. None of these are perfect. But together? They’re transformative.
Fulfilled Hustle Tip:
#thefulfilledhustle
Micro-moments matter more than perfect routines.
If you can’t do everything, do something. Tiny actions done daily create a life that feels lighter, calmer, and more in alignment with who you want to be.
This Week’s Focus
Let’s do this! Pick your task for each of the categories today. Find a friend and do it together.
You don’t need anything fancy to begin.
Just a timer and intention.
Too much right now? Try just one category. Start with just 5 minutes. Just start. You’ve got this!
Looking back, this wasn’t just about finding more time — it was about redesigning how everything was flowing so it didn’t all depend on me. That’s something I now think of as capacity design.
Let’s build a fulfilled life – not someday…but ten minutes at a time.
