I help high-capacity parents, professionals and leaders redesign how work flows – and how they lead within it.
Life can feel like a whirlwind—managing family, work, school responsibilities, and the curveballs life loves to throw our way. Some days, I feel like I’m thriving, and other days, I’m just trying to keep my head above water. Sound familiar?
Hi! I’m Rachel, a married mom of two young girls, a full-time leader, and your friendly PTO president.
Like so many of you, I’ve struggled to find that elusive balance between work, family, and personal goals.
Through trial and error (and plenty of chaos), I’ve learned something:
It’s not about doing more or trying harder – it’s about focusing on what truly matters and letting the rest go.
MY STORY
For most of my life, I have been the reliable one.
The one people trust. The one who can figure things out. the one who gets things done.
Over time, that reliability became the reason more and more came to me.
More decisions. More responsibility. More visibility.
Not because anyone explicitly decided it – but because it worked.
Until it didn’t.
What made me effective started to become the constraint.
Not because I wasn’t capable – but because everything was still routing through me.
THE PATTERN I KEPT SEEING
This wasn’t just my experience.
I saw it in leaders everywhere – at work, in organizations, even at home.
High-performing, capable people quietly carrying more than they should.
Work accumulates around the most reliable person.
Decisions default to the person who can handle them,
Responsibility expands without being intentionally designed.
Once that cycle is on repeat, it creates a system where everything depends on one person – whether anyone realizes it or not.
I now refer to this as the Reliability Loop.
WHAT I DO
My work focuses on helping others break that pattern – by addressing both the system and how they operate within it.
Through Capacity Design, I help uncover how work, decisions, and responsibility are currently flowing – and where they’re getting stuck.
Through The Capacity Advantage™, I help leaders shift how they lead inside that system – so everything no longer depends on them.
Fix the system. Strengthen how you lead.
HOW THIS IS DIFFERENT
Most advice focuses on doing more efficiently. Better time management. Better prioritization. Better habits.
But if the underlying structure hasn’t changed, those improvements only go so far.
My work focuses on something deeper:
- How responsibility is distributed
- How decisions are made and routed
- How work actually moves through people and teams
- How leaders operate under increasing pressure
Real change doesn’t come from working harder. It comes from operating differently.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
I bring over 15 years of experience in learning, organizational development, and leadership development across mission-driven organizations.
As a senior leader, I’ve led enterprise-wide learning strategy, talent development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives – partnering directly with executive leadership to align development to business priorities.
My work has focused on helping others perform, grow, and navigate complexity while delivering results both themselves and through others.
I have led teams in high-demand operational environments, led volunteer initiatives, been actively involved in my community, and navigating the challenges of raising a family – grounding my coaching in the real-world challenges leaders face balancing results, people, and pressure simultaneously.

WHO I WORK WITH
I work with high-capacity professionals and leaders who are:
- Responsible for delivery results through others
- Operating in complex, high-demand environments
- Known as reliable – and feeling the weight of it
- Balancing work, leadership, and real life
- Ready to operate differently, not just push harder
Many people are already performing at a high level. They’re not looking for more information – they’re looking for a better way to lead.
IF THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR
There are two ways to start this work – depending on what you need most right now.
If the issue is how work is flowing—
too much responsibility, too many decisions, and everything routing
back to you:
If you’re ready to translate
complexity into clear priorities,
aligned teams &
consistent performance:
Clarity in complexity creates consistent performance.
You don’t need to carry everything to be effective. There’s a better way to operate – and lead.
